В статье автор исторически обсуждает вопрос о спонсорстве архитектурных сооружений мамлюкскими султанами, правившими в Египте в 1250-1517 годах. Данный подход к этому вопросу послужит дополнительным материалом к ранее опубликованным работам в республиканскых и международных научных кругах.
