SOME REFLECTIONS ON THE RELEVANCE OF TEACHING THE HISTORY OF UZBEKISTAN

The article deals with the relevance and importance of teaching the history of Uzbekistan in the education system, its role in formation of historical memory in the minds of young people, some of the theoretical and methodological principles of teaching science and the importance of using materials and written sources. It highlights the urgency of teaching the history of the country in educational institutions in Uzbekistan, the importance of the consistent policy pursued by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to bring up a harmoniously developed generation and ensure the strategic development of our country.
