THE NEED FOR REFORM IN THE EDUCATION SYSTEM IN UZBEKISTAN AND ITS FUNDAMENTALS

This article focuses on the reforms implemented in the field of education in Uzbekistan during the years of independence and their results. In particular, over the past five years, Uzbekistan has taken a number of measures to address the problems in the education system, to raise the status of teachers in society, to create a legal framework for the education system. The adopted laws provide for the gradual implementation of reforms in the education system.
During the years of independence, radical reform of the education system has become a requirement of the times. Relying on the legal framework of the sector, the system was reformed, and as a result, the general education system was formed on the basis of completely new standards.
