Maqolada shaxsning o‘zligini anglash muammosi ekzistensial-falsafiy nuqtayi nazardan tahlil qilinadi. Tadqiqotda o‘zlikni anglash tayyor mohiyatni kashf etish emas, balki uzluksiz davom etuvchi ekzistensial jarayon sifatida talqin etiladi. 2020–2025-yillarda nashr etilgan zamonaviy fenomenologik va ekzistensial tadqiqotlar tahlili asosida o‘zlikni anglashning to‘rt o‘lchovi — ekzistensial, narrativ, relatsion va tanaviy o‘lchovlar ajratilgan. Shuningdek, raqamli muhitda o‘zlikni anglash jarayonining o‘zgarishi, algoritmik shaxsiylashtirish va onlayn o‘zini taqdim etish bilan bog‘liq yangi muammolar ko‘rib chiqilgan. Natijada o‘zlikni anglashning to‘rt komponentli konseptual modeli taklif etilgan.
