Mazkur maqolada hozirgi kunda dunyo davlatlari ichida eng tez rivojlanayotgan Xitoy Xalq Respublikasining AQSH bilan olib borgan siyosati bayon qilingan. Ikki davlat o`rtasidagi munosabatlarni ham iqtisodiy, ham siyosiy jihatlari bilan birgalikda ziddiyatlarning kelib chiqishiga ham alohida e`tibor qaratilgan. Bugungi kunda ikki buyuk davlatlarning, ya`ni AQSH va Xitoyning, xalqaro munosabatlar tizimiga ta`siri o`ta kuchli bo`lgani hech kimga sir emasligi bayon qilingan. Iqtisodiy va harbiy-siyosiy sohalarda ushbu mamlakatlar ulkan pozitsiyalarga ega bo`lishi, afuski, ular o`rtasidagi raqobatni kuchaytirayotganligi, bu esa o`z navbatida dunyo miqyosida, tinch-totuv siyosatni qaror topishiga to`g`ridan to`g`ri tahdid solayotganligi ta’kidlangan.
