CHILD-REARING METHODS OF THE UZBEK PEOPLE: A HISTORICAL AND ETHNOGRAPHIC APPROACH

This article presents an in-depth study of the national educational views of the Uzbek people based on ethnographic materials. The research analyzes the historical development of child-rearing concepts, the distribution of roles within the family, socialization, labor training, and the inculcation of moral and ethical values. These aspects of education are examined through ethnographic observations, oral folklore, customs, rituals, and examples from everyday life, revealing the practical manifestations of the people’s pedagogical outlook.
