CLASSIFICATION OF NAMES OF HOUSES IN KHOREZM

Abstract

This article examines the names of dwellings used in the territory of Khorezm, their origins, semantic features, and main classification methods. Particular attention is paid to traditional types of dwellings preserved in the speech of the local population. The names of residential and outbuildings are analyzed, as well as their connection to the lifestyle, climate, and culture of the people. The study demonstrates that the housing vocabulary of Khorezm developed over a long historical period and reflects the characteristics of the region's material culture.
