THE ROLE AND SIGNIFICANCE OF THE CHINESE LANGUAGE IN UZBEKISTAN–CHINA COOPERATION

Abstract

This article analyzes the strategic initiatives being implemented within the framework of educational cooperation between Uzbekistan and China and the importance of the language in it. The main attention is paid to the created conditions for learning and teaching the Chinese language, research and academic mobility, innovative approaches in international cooperation, as well as Confucius Institutes and inter-university relations. The article reviews current achievements and future priority areas based on the experience of the Uzbek State University of World Languages.
