ORGANIZATIONAL AND ECONOMIC MECHANISM OF STATE REGULATION OF SUSTAINABLE TOURISM DEVELOPMENT AND ITS STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS

This article theoretically examines the socio-economic content of sustainable tourism development. It systematizes the scientific approaches of scholars such as R.W. Butler, B. Bramwell, and B. Lane, providing a comparative analysis of economic, social, ecological, destination-based, stakeholder, and integrative approaches to sustainable tourism. Based on statistical data, the dynamics of tourist arrivals to Uzbekistan for 2020–2025 and the key performance indicators of tourism firms and organizations are analyzed. As a result, the study proposes interpreting the socio-economic content of sustainable tourism development through the “resource – activity – outcome – sustainability” interrelationship and develops practical recommendations for sectoral development.
