Abstract

The turn of the late 19th - early 20th centuries was called the “Silver Age” in Russian literature - a period marked by the flourishing of Russian poetry. The Silver Age gave the world such great masters of style as A. Blok and M. Tsvetaeva, I. Bunin and S. Yesenin, V. Mayakovsky and N. Gumilyov, etc. One of the brightest and most talented representatives of this period was Anna Akhmatova a poetess who conquered the world with her creativity; a woman who became a symbol of the era. Akhmatova had her own unique style and unique style of writing. This article makes an attempt to characterize the eastern period of Anna Akhmatova’s poetry and show its main features.
