«KANOAT» (MODERATION) – AS A MORAL CATEGORY AND SPIRITUAL NEED

The article discusses the essence and content of the category of Uzbek, Karakalpak folk morality «kanoat». The interrelation of kanoat with other moral and ethical categories is revealed. The place and role of kanoat in establishing the right relationship between a person and society is shown. It is emphasized that kanoat calls people to goodness in this world.
