CONDITIONS AND FOREIGN EXPERIENCE OF EXEMPTION FROM PUNISHMENT IN CONNECTION WITH THE EXPIRATION OF THE SENTENCE

This article examines the concept and conditions for the application of the institution of release due to the expiration of the statute of limitations for the execution of a sentence, as well as the legislation of some developed countries. At the same time, the norms of the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan on release due to the expiration of the statute of limitations for the execution of punishment have been analyzed, legislative acts related to the release due to the expiration of the statute of limitations for the execution of punishment of some foreign countries have been deeply studied, and proposals have been made for further improvement of national legislation in this area.
