ON THE TRADITION OF NAMING ITSELF IN THE LANGUAGE AND ITS HISTORICAL ROOTS

Abstract

ABSTRACT

The article reflects on the naming tradition of the language itself and its historical roots, and it is justified that in creating new names, first of all, it is necessary to refer to the living folk language, as well as to rely on the historical naming traditions of the language. The possibilities of the Uzbek language to name new concepts are very high, and it has its historical foundations of at least a thousand years. Due to some socio-political changes in different periods, a number of Uzbek (Turkic) words and suffixes gave way to other language units. Especially, due to the strong influence of the Russian language, the current word-making possibilities of the Uzbek language are somewhat limited. Therefore, in-depth study and analysis of the unique historical naming tradition of the Uzbek language is one of the important issues of today's linguistics.
