Abstract

The article provides information about the derivational properties of compound and complex words. The fact that compound and complex words are a set of small syntax areas is scientifically substantiated. Information is provided about the scientific theory and difference between compound and complex words. Despite the fact that there are quite a few research works on word formation in linguistics, it is studied that problems related to the derivational properties of word formation are only now being studied
