CHARACTERISTICS OF POETIC AND AUTHORIAL CORPORA

This article explores one of the pressing directions in modern Uzbek linguistics-corpus linguistics, with a particular focus on the specific features of poetic and authorial corpora. The study is based on a poetic corpus compiled from the works of Abdulla Oripov, Muhammad Yusuf, and Shavkat Rahmon, and examines the possibilities of linguistic analysis. The paper discusses the volume and structure of the poetic corpus, tokenization and lemmatization processes, the development of frequency dictionaries, and their applications in translation, education, and artificial intelligence systems. Furthermore, the article highlights the scientific and practical significance of authorial corpora in consistently presenting the development of the literary language, and in digitizing, systematizing, and analyzing national cultural heritage. It substantiates the necessity of thoroughly studying the historical evolution of the Uzbek literary language through corpus-based methods.
