ABSTRACT

This article contains comments on the lexicographic features of the explanatory dictionary «Charogi hidiyat» and the monograph «Charogi hidoyat» Orzu va zaboni tojikii forsi», which is devoted to the comparison of lexical and phraseological units of the dictionary with the modern Tajik language.

These comments reflect the comparison of the vocabulary lexicon in the monograph with the lexicon of the modern Tajik language and the extent to which the synchronic and diachronic changes in the language are affected as a result. The monograph we are talking about also partially describes the lexicographic features of the dictionary, and the author's research in this area requires a re-classification on the basis of main research. The lack of phonetic and orthoepic interpretation of words, the fact that words are given in abbreviated and plural forms, and the fact that dictionaries are not fully classified in terms of content.
