Abstract

ABSTRACT

This article analyzes the concept, linguocultural concept and the problem of value in anthropocentric linguistics and their interpretation. Traditional linguistics considers a word, a phrase and a sentence as an object of analysis, while the rapidly developing areas of anthropocentric linguistics - cognitive linguistics and linguoculturology consider the concept as a mental phenomenon as such a unit. There are definitions and descriptions of them from different points of view, and as a common aspect for all interpretations, it can be shown that it is realized through the language. Here, such methodologically important points emerge as, firstly, a person is the subject of language and culture, and secondly, language and culture are isomorphic semiotic systems. The article also gives definitions of the concept of value from the point of view of axiology, psychology and cultural studies. In cultural studies, values are considered as a product of human activity, and culture itself is widely understood as the sum of values in a given society. Values are also classified by scale, territory, groups of values and personal attitude of a representative of culture towards it.

Key words: culture, concept, linguocultural concept, value, isomorphism, spiritual values, social values, economic values, material values.
