THE ROLE OF CHIASMA IN POETIC TEXTS

Poetic syntax plays a big role in ensuring the effectiveness of poetic speech, enhancing the meaning, increasing the imagery of the language of the work, and ensuring individuality. With the help of poetic syntax and its types, the poet easily, quickly and effectively expresses his goal, with the help of these means the reader’s attention is concentrated on the topic that the creator wants to tell, he mobilizes his attention, saturated with images. Sometimes one side of the plot is exaggerated, sometimes the other side, which helps to make the story attractive and the artistic value of the work increases. This article, using the example of Uzbek poetry, studies one of the types of poetic syntax found in poetic texts, the role of chiasmatic means in ensuring expressiveness, emotional expressiveness of a work of art, the composition of chiasmatic means, their location, their functions in poetic speech, such as giving pleasure, serving for quick and long-term memorization of thoughts.
