REFLECTION OF THE NATIONAL MENTALITY IN APHORISMS

ABSTRACT

This article covers the issues of wise-words spoken by the great scholars and sages based on logic, which have been polished for years in the language of the peoples of the whole world for several centuries, manifesting the national mentality of each people, that is, aphorisms, their place, and importance in the speech of people, youth education, learning and teaching today as a paremiological unit, Linguistic and didactic possibilities related to the formation of aphorisms as a literary term and teaching on a dual approach in general secondary education and higher education institutions are also revealed. While aphorisms are not differentiated according to whether they are thematically delimited, it can be seen that each nation is fundamentally different in terms of being able to exhibit its characteristics.
