LINGUOPOEIC POSSIBILITIES OF ANTITHESIS (BASED ON THE EXAMPLE OF ANWAR OBIDJAN'S POEMS)

ABSTRACT

 The literary text reveals the linguapoetic possibilities of antithesis. The method of antithesis in the language of fiction is based on the creation of images by using a series of words and phrases in the narrative that give each other opposite meanings. In each case, they testify to the uniqueness of the poet’s individual style. Anvar Obidjon skillfully used antithesis along with other linguistic and poetic means. Words, phrases and concepts used as linguistic and poetic means in the poetry of Anvar Obidjon fully reflect Uzbek characteristics, national values, traditions and human relations and enrich the poet’s poems from an artistic and aesthetic point of view.
