THE USAGE OF THE CONCEPT OF MOTION IN LINGUISTICS

Abstract

This article discusses the linguistic application of the concept of motion in linguistics, which is closely related to verb semantics, and the problems of its interpretation by linguists, as well as the factors that cause motion. The author examines the role and importance of the concept of motion in each field of science, focusing on its study in different languages (Uzbek, German, Russian). In the work, the author summarizes the views expressed by linguists on the subject and gives his views on this concept. The article also provides insights into the study of motion and the verbs of movement it covers.
