Currently, the most common form of knowledge bases is the lexical knowledge base of the ontological type. Linguistic ontology is a large semantic system for processes such as information search, text analysis, automatic translation, and knowledge gathering. Currently, the number of Uzbek speakers is large. It is clear from this that in the age of digitized technologies, it is necessary to create UzNet ontology in order to implement many technological works within the framework of the Uzbek language. Therefore, in this article, the meaning of the term linguistic ontology and its essential importance, the principles of creating an ontology of the Uzbek language, the characteristics of UzNet, the reasons for creating UzNet not on the basis of the WordNet database, but as a separate integrated system, and its business process (BPMN) are detailed. information was provided.
