COMPARATIVE STUDIES OF E.BERTELS ON NAVOI WORKS

The article studies the scientific activity of E. E. Bertels (1881-1957), one of the orientalists who seriously studied Uzbek classical literature on the basis of high textological training.
The aim of the article is to reveal the literary criticism of Uzbek classical literature in Russian orientalism of the XX century in comparatively study of the process of the Uzbek classical literature research in connection with cultural, literary and historical-social processes, unbias evaluation of Russian scholars literary-aesthetic viewpoints.
The tasks of the article are to study the interest in the Uzbek classical literature and scientific approach formation of stages in Russian literature study from intercultural and reception aspect, to determine basic topics and problems interested Russian orientalists, study Russian oriental studies as an integral object of from cultural-literary, social and communicative aspects.
The object of the article comprises published scientific works and archive
materials on the Uzbek classical literature on Russian Oriental studies of the XX
century.
The subject of the article is comparative study of the turkological researches in Russian orientalism of the XX century.
Historical and genetic, historical-functional, comparative-historical and statistical methods have been based on the topic.
In the process of researching of the study of Uzbek classical literature in the XX century Russian orientalism it was proved one more time that Uzbek literature as an integrated part of literature common to all people the literary aesthetic value of Uzbek literature and the most important thing is that everlasting creative works by Alisher Navoi, Babur, Munis, Ogahi and other thinkers are not only Uzbek people’s precious pearl but also belong to the world culture and literature.
