Abstract

Migraine remains one of the most common and socially significant neurological disorders, characterized by a high rate of chronification and disability among patients. Despite advances in modern pharmacotherapy, a considerable proportion of patients exhibit resistance to standard treatment approaches. This highlights the need for identifying new biomarkers — both cytological and genetic — that could enable early diagnosis, prediction of therapeutic response, and the development of personalized prevention strategies.
