Acute metabolic conditions represent one of the most pressing issues in modern medicine, characterized by a high frequency of severe neurological complications and significant mortality. According to the World Health Organization, metabolic encephalopathies account for up to 30% of all acute neurological conditions in intensive care units and are the cause of death in 15-40% of cases.
