FFECTIVENESS OF REHABILITATION MEASURES IN ISCHEMIC STROKE DEPENDING ON ITS PATHOGENETIC HETEROGENEITY
Keywords:
ischemic stroke, pathogenetic heterogeneity, TOAST classification, rehabilitation, Barthel Index, NIHSS scale, modified Rankin ScaleAbstract
The article presents the results of a comparative clinical study evaluating the effectiveness of rehabilitation measures in 240 patients with different pathogenetic subtypes of ischemic stroke. It was established that the pathogenetic subtype of stroke has a statistically significant impact on the rate of functional recovery, the severity of neurological deficits, and the degree of disability in the long-term period. The most favorable outcomes were observed in patients with lacunar stroke, whereas the least favorable outcomes were found in patients with hemodynamic stroke
