Abstract

According to large-scale epidemiological studies in recent years, brain tumors occupy a significant place among the causes of death in the elderly and senile age [1, 2, 3,]. The widespread introduction of modern neuroimaging methods into clinical practice has contributed to a immense increase in the detection of brain tumors in the elderly and senile age [1, 2,]. Brain tumors in individuals of these age group have their own characteristics concerning the structural and biological properties of tumors, their location, growth, and clinical course, which is often an important reason for their late detection
