INTEGRATIVE PSYCHODIAGNOSTIC APPROACH: EFFICIENCY ANALYSIS IN DETERMINING THE LOCUS OF CONTROL IN VASCULAR DEMENTIA

72 patients with vascular dementia were examined. They were undergone clinic-instrumental and neuropsychologic examination. To implement an integrative psychodiagnostic approach, Rotter's Locus of Control Scale—which assesses the degree of personal responsibility acceptance and reliance on external factors—was administered to determine the patients' active participation in the treatment process, readiness for change, and adherence to the therapeutic regimen. The combination of tests enables an accurate evaluation of the patients' mental state and their receptivity to psychotherapy, serving as an essential tool in formulating individualized rehabilitation and treatment strategies.
