Abstract

The article presents the results of an analysis on the impact of perioperative coronary bypass factors on the risk of ischemic stroke development in the early postoperative period. The study included patients after coronary bypass grafting, divided into two groups: the main group consisted of 50 patients with perioperative ischemic stroke, and the comparison group consisted of 75 patients without this complication. The duration of the surgery, artificial blood circulation time, aortic compression time, blood loss volume, transfusion load, oxygen status indicators, glycemia level, C-reactive protein and leukocytes, as well as the presence of hemodynamic instability and the need for vasopressor/inotropic support, were assessed.
