Abstract

Traumatic damage to the median nerve is from 20 to 35% in the structure of damage to the nerve trunks of the upper limb. This nerve is the main nerve trunk that innervates the flexor muscles of the hand and fingers. Clinical manifestations of traumatic damage to the median nerve are determined by the level, nature, and mechanism of the lesion. Vegetative-trophic disorders are more often detected with combined damage. Pain syndrome is one of the leading ones in the clinical picture of the lesion. Causalgic pain syndrome occurs more often with high damage to the median nerve.
