Рассматривается современный подход к комплексной диагностике ликвореи как транскраниальной, так и назальной. Описана эпидемиология и причины развития ликвореи по данным современной литературы. Кратко представлена история изучения цереброспинальной жидкости и различных методов её исследования. Особое внимание уделено обзору описанных в литературе современных способов диагностики ликвореи. Рассмотрены как простые и общедоступные пробы «двойного пятна» и «носового платка», так и высокотехнологичные эндоскопические методики визуальной диагностики. Определена роль нейровизуализационных методик обследования, таких как мультиспиральная компьютерная томография, цистернография, магнитно-резонансная томография в диагностике ликвореи.
