PITUITARY ADENOMAS: PREVALENCE, PATHOGENESIS AND CLASSIFICATION OF DISEASE
Keywords:
pituitary adenoma (PA), hormone disturbance, chiasmus syndromeAbstract
Pathology of the chiasmal cellaric region is one of the most difficult areas in brain neurosurgery. But today, thanks to the introduction of new technologies, the diagnosis and treatment of pituitary adenomas (PA) has reached a new level, but it has not always been so. The literature review presents data on its latest achievements, development trends in the diagnosis and treatment of pituitary adenomas, with an overview of its history of development in the world.
