Abstract

Microcurrent reflexology for microcephaly, as for other diseases, has not proven its effectiveness as a primary treatment method. As a result of scientific research conducted in recent years, this problem, like many other diseases, is finding its solution. Although microcurrent stimulation may have a *small* effect on nerve conduction and muscle tone, there is no convincing scientific evidence that it has a significant effect on the development or compensation of cognitive impairment characteristic of microcephaly. This article presents the results of the work carried out on this problem and measures to eliminate its shortcomings.
