К настоящему времени ЦВЗ,в частности острые нарушения мозгового кровообращения имеют четкую тенденцию к увеличению. Существующая отечественная и особенно зарубежная литература свидетельствует о установивщимсяважной медицинской и социальной проблемы острого мозгового инсульта в обществе человечества земного шара.Инсульт может развиться в любом возрасте, однако его частота и распространенность увеличиваются с возрастом. Около 80% инсультов возникает у людей старше 65 лет, при этом возраст оказывает большое влияние на исходы инсульта.
