Маълумки, ўрганувчининг автономияси тил ўрганувчиларга ўзларининг ўқишлари учун кўпроқ маъсулиятни ўз зиммаларига олиш қобилиятини таьминлашга қаратилган. Мақола муаллифи “ўрганувчини мустақиллиги" ва "мустақил таълим" атамаларини назарий ёндашув билан тушунтиради. Бундан ташқари, тилни ўрганишда ўқувчининг автономиясининг асосий хусусиятлари ва таснифлари муҳокама қилинади.
