M. BEKMURADOV: THE ORIGINS OF SOCIOLOGY IN UZBEKISTAN

Abstract

A narrative interview with Mansur Babomuradovich Bekmuradov, a prominent sociologist, head of Sociology and Management Psychology Department of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Uzbekistan, who has contributed to the development of sociological science in our country, reveals the main aspects and history of formation of sociological science at the stages of its development in Uzbekistan. The role of famous personalities, scientific community, organization and renowned scholars has been pointed out. It is noteworthy that the renowned scholar shared his thoughts on the achievements in science, on relations and problems associated with sociological science in the country.
