A SOCIOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF THE PREVENTION OF DEVIANT BEHAVIOR

This article attempts to highlight the concept of deviant behavior, its manifestations and consequences, as well as the importance of institutions of social control in its prevention. The 21st century is a modern age of development in which the progress of society is in full swing. In this process, along with technological progress, new values and cultures are emerging. One of the main features of the era of technological progress is the large-scale nature of social networks and the sphere of information exchange. This space has both positive and negative consequences. At the same time, the development of the media and the role of the information provided in them in people's public life are becoming important. The article attempts to highlight this space and its place in the emergence of deviant behavior.
