THE IMPACT OF LABOR MIGRATION ON DEMOGRAPHY

Abstract

This article examines the impact of labor migration on demographic processes. Labor migration is an integral part of modern global processes, which significantly affects the size, composition and territorial distribution of the population. The main analysis was made of the impact of labor migration on the birth and death rates, marriage and divorce processes, as well as the age and sex ratio of the population, in particular, attention was paid to such factors as age, gender and marital status. The article analyzes the predominance of youth among immigrants and the distribution of women and men within these groups. In addition to the social and economic aspects of labor migration, special attention is paid to the study of its long-term impact on demographic processes. The work includes practical recommendations for the effective management of migration processes and maintaining demographic balance. This topic is of current importance in the study of the demographic development of the population and the formation of the state migration policy. The socio-economic causes of labor migration were also considered, the impact of labor migration on the demographic and economic structure of the country was studied in depth, and the mechanisms for the effective management of these processes were discussed.
