POLITICAL PARTIES IN THE PROCESS OF INCREASING THE PUBLIC ACTIVITY OF WOMEN IN UZBEKISTAN

Abstract

In Uzbekistan, political science studies of the participation of different words of the population have been intensifying in recent years on the basis of different views on these processes. One of the important aspects of the study is the gender component of public participation of citizens in politics. This article analyzes the role and place of parties in the processes of active participation of women in the political life of the country using the example of UzLiDeP. Thus, this party is a supporter of the consistent integration of women into politics and its institutions. One of the important trends in the activities of political parties in Uzbekistan is active assistance in expanding and realizing the opportunities and business skills of women, enhancing their role through active involvement in all spheres of public life to ensure full and equal participation in decision-making on economic, social, cultural and political issues, as well as the elimination of all possible obstacles in this. In particular, in the structure of UzLiDeP there is a "Women's Wing", which implements a whole range of measures to promote the implementation of gender policy. Particular attention in the party is paid to the formation of women’s liberal-democratic thinking and the development of a spiritual worldview, broad propaganda among them of the essence and significance of socio-economic reforms. In the activities of the "Women's Wing", various modern innovative forms of organizing a systemic dialogue with the population and ensuring close ties with the electorate of the party are widely used.
