THE INFLUENCE OF INTERNET MEDIA ON POLITICAL SOCIALIZATION (USING THE EXAMPLE OF PROTESTS IN RUSSIA IN 2017-2018)

This article explores the impact of internet media on political socialization, using the example of protests that took place in Russia during the period of 2017-2018. The author examines the concepts and functions of political socialization and internet media, and conducts a content analysis of materials related to protests on the independent news resource «Meduza» and the social network «VKontakte». The article provides an overview of the protests that occurred during the specified period and analyzes how political socialization is shaped under the influence of internet media. In conclusion, the author provides important recommendations for modern Russia and Uzbekistan based on the conducted research. This work is of significant importance for understanding the influence of internet media on the political sphere, particularly in the context of protest movements.
