METHODOLOGICAL RECOMMENDATIONS FOR RESEARCHING SOCIO-ECONOMIC PREFERENCES OF YOUTH

Abstract

The article reflects the methodological recommendations of the study of the socio-economic preferences of youth. The methodology of conducting systemic monitoring of the socio-economic intentions of various layers of youth is presented. The monitoring was created on the basis of the following blocks: observation of socio-demographic processes, standards, making long-term forecasts, regulation of socio-economic preferences. During the monitoring, attention was paid to the socio-demographic characteristics of youth in order to develop appropriate proposals. In the first, models of social stratification were developed based on a subjective assessment of the well-being of the family by graduates of colleges, lyceums and schools, as well as inactive (not organized) youth based on the results of sociological research. The reasons for not issuing work books by inactive youth are investigated and an attempt is made to model an increase in their official employment. A linear model was used in the modeling. Suggestions for improving youth policy are given.
