PUBLIC CONTROL IN THE FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTION IN THE NEW UZBEKISTAN

It is known that corruption is the abuse of the law by an official who uses his powers, evades his official duties, organizes work on the basis of localism, nepotism, infringing on human rights, especially bribery and embezzlement is dangerous for society.Therefore, the fight against corruption is one of the important means of effectively protecting the rights and freedoms of every person and ensuring the rule of law in the context of legal reforms that are being carried out rapidly in our country.
Our republic has created a comprehensive anti-corruption system, and this system has been improved over the past years. Laws, decrees and resolutions of the President, adopted for the purpose of timely and high-quality implementation of measures to prevent corruption in all spheres of public and state life, certainly produce results. Also, the recently adopted Decree No. PF-158 on the strategy “UZBEKISTAN-2030” defined the tasks of the role of society in the fight against corruption.
