CONCEPTS OF THE INFLUENCE OF THE INTERNET SPACE ON SOCIAL AND POLITICAL PROCESSES

In the conditions of the developing information space, political changes and the strengthening of the paradigm of the influence of Internet communications on all aspects of human life, the theoretical understanding of the influence of the Internet space on socio-political processes is becoming increasingly relevant. The article analyzes some theoretical aspects and various approaches of researchers to understanding this phenomenon, and identifies some of their features. The authors provide an analysis of foreign research that has only been developed at the present stage. The article presents data from applied research indicating the growing role of Internet communications in the formation of public opinion and society's views on certain social problems. The constant progress of information and communication technologies opens up broad opportunities for individuals, social groups, society, organizations, states and all humanity. These opportunities include, among other things, more effective and creative solutions to pressing economic and social problems.
