ISSUES OF CREATING A DIALECTAL SUBCORPUS FOR THE ELECTRONIC CORPUS OF THE UZBEK LANGUAGE

This article examines the role of dialectal corpora in modern linguistics, the relevance of current research on dialectological corpora developed for Turkic languages, and the ongoing work related to the creation of dialectal corpora in the Uzbek language. It also outlines the theoretical and methodological principles of constructing and structuring such corpora. The article analyzes selected phonetic and lexical features of the Qarshi urban dialect as sample material and theoretically substantiates the main approaches to incorporating these features into the corpus.
