THE ROLE OF MINING IN THE SOCIO - ECONOMIC LIFE OF THE BUKHARA KHANATE (XVI-XIX CENTURIES)

In this article, on the basis of information from various sources, the issues of mining in the Bukhara Khanate are considered, from the 16 th century to the beginning of the 20th century. In the territory of Bukhara there were the famous mountains Bukansky, Yuz Kuduk, Chili on the eastern side of the mountains Kopkontosh, Tumanbai, Arslan, Nurata, Aktag, Karatag and branches - the courageous Koshgar and Badakhshona called Pomir, Bolor, on the northern side of the mountain Kulchuk, Susus kara and others. They produced cobblestone, marble, limestone, precious stones, gold, silver, iron, copper, lead, coal, lignite, salt, sulfur, nitrate, turquoise, lapis lazuli, ruby, emerald.Products for construction and road construction such as stone blocks, marble, coal, as well as various metal products were put on the international market.
