THE SOCIAL-CULTURAL TRADITIONS OF UZBEK NATIONAL DISHES

Abstract

In recent years, the traditions of Uzbek national cuisine and popularity of Uzbek hospitality and food culture has become very important in the world and become a high value of spiritual heritage, such as literature, music and painting. Along with the study of food, types, ingredients, methods of preparation and food, which is an integral part of the material culture of the Uzbek people, food traditions, customs and rituals need to be analyzed and studied on the basis of anthropological approach to traditional food of Surkhandarya oasis.

The article presents the customs and traditional dishes and their symbolical meaning, some social- cultural traditions about the dishes of Surkhandarya valley people, on the bases of ethnographical materials.
