Фарғона водийси Ўрта Осиёнинг тош даври чақмоқтош устахоналарини ўрганишда муҳим ўрин тутади. 20-асрнинг 60-70-йилларида Олтой тоғ тизмасининг Данғидарё дараси ичидан палеолит даври устахонаси – Қапчиғай топилган ва ўрганилган. Бу йерда, чақмоқтош чиқаётган жойларда очиқ усулда хомашё қазиб олиниб, тош қуроллар ясалган. Қапчиғай етагида ўрта ва сўнгги палеолит даврига оид кўплаб тош буюмлар йиғилган. Ушбу мақола Капчигай силикасини қайта ишлаш сехининг маданий мансублигини аниқлашга бағишланган. Ишда олинган хулосалар замонавий тадқиқот усуллари ва инновацион ёндашувлар ёрдамида амалга оширилди.
