Language is one of the main criteria for the formation of human thinking. The language of peoples who do not interact with each other is distinguished by a unique national flavor, which includes a unique vocabulary. The analysis of the irony of a work of art covers not only linguistic means and stylistic devices, but also extralinguistic factors, such as the individual style of the author, his life path, social and philosophical views of the era in which he lived. Interpretation of the cognitive structures of a literary text is associated with both the basics of linguistics and the analysis of a particular literary text.
