This article reveals the pedagogical essence of the concept of social activity competence of female students and analyzes its structural components, criteria, indicators, and levels of formation. The author examines the theoretical and methodological foundations of developing this competence in higher education institutions, taking into account gender-specific factors. Social activity competence is interpreted as an integral system consisting of motivational-value, cognitive, activity-practical, communicative, and reflexive-evaluative components. The findings have theoretical and practical significance for higher education pedagogy and educational work methodology.
