Abstract

This article analyzes the artistic interpretation of folk oral art - folklore elements in the work of one of the brightest representatives of modern Uzbek poetry - Fakhriyor Nizomiddinov. In the poetic world of the poet, folklore appears not only as an aesthetic and decorative tool, but also as the main artistic tool that shapes ideas and content. Folk melodies, mythological images, proverbs and sayings, elements characteristic of legends and song fragments play an important role in Fakhriyor's poems. The poet combines folklore images with modern feelings and expresses his poetic worldview through artistic images characteristic of the people's psyche. This article analyzes the artistic function of folklore motifs in Fakhriyor's work, their role in poetic content and aesthetic expression.
